What helps most

A date and a URL. The record this site reads is built from captures, and a capture is only as good as its timestamp. If a label gets a date wrong, say which capture shows otherwise. If you kept a page this gallery could not find, say where it lived.

What the desk cannot do

It cannot reach the site's maker, restore lost pages to the live web, or say what was meant by anything the record does not show. The guest book that once stood at the door of the original house is closed; this desk is the only window left open.

editorial at this domain. Replies are slow and signed by a person, the way the original mailto once was.
